Description
The Monster. About 2 hours. About 70 parts. Four motors, one on each wheel. 2.4 GHz.
A monster truck you build from flat cut sheets, four gear motors, a receiver board and a bag of rivets, with your hands and nothing else. No glue, no tools. Then you pick up the controller you also built and drive it. Forward, back, left, right.
Built, it is 27 × 17.5 × 15 cm: blue board with the flame print, yellow rims, four rubber tyres. The truck charges over Type-C from the same brick as your phone. The controller takes two AA cells, not in the box.
Wiring four motors is the bit you will get wrong once.
Bilt

Built by you
The evening usually goes to the screen. This one goes on the shelf.
Two quiet hours making something real, then watching it move. Clear the table, make tea, lose an evening.
- No glue, no tools, no screen
- About two hours, a first-timer’s evening
- Something on the shelf you made
Full control
A controller you also built, and it answers.
Forward, back, left, right. Four buttons and a switch on a controller cut from the same sheet, with no lag you can feel.
- Four buttons, one switch
- 2.4 GHz
- Two AA cells, not included
Where it drives
Tiles, wood, marble, the rug.
Four wheels, four motors, big rubber tyres. It climbs the rug and keeps going. Charges over Type-C, from the same brick as your phone.
- Any floor indoors, rug included
- Four motors, one on each wheel
- Type-C, no special charger

For someone else
A gift that starts when they open it.
Most gifts are finished the moment they are unwrapped. This one begins there: an evening at the table, then something that drives, then a thing on the shelf they made.
- Comes in its own box, ready to hand over
- Ships to their address if you put it at checkout
- 7 days to return it unbuilt, if it is not their thing
Built, not bought
The Monster, next to a ready-made RC truck.
Both drive. One is yours in the way that counts.

Why Bilt
Deep focus
Seventy-odd pieces that want your whole attention. The room goes quiet.
Clears the noise
Working with your hands after a long day. An evening, and the day is somewhere else.
Quality time
A solo evening, a weekend with your partner, a project with a friend. No screens between you.
A sense of achievement
You built this. With your hands. And now it sits on your shelf, moving.
Also on the shelf
More builds.
Before you order
Before you order.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to build it. It arrives as flat sheets and there is no truck until you make one.
How long does the build really take?
About two hours for someone who has never done it. We are timing it on first-timers now and will print the number, not a guess. Faster the second time.
Do I need glue or tools?
No. The joints press together and the rivets seat by hand. Nothing in the box needs anything that is not in the box, except two AA cells for the controller.
What if a part is missing or broken?
Check the parts against the manual before you start. If something is missing or does not work, send us a photo within 7 days and we send the part, free, in 4 to 5 days. You do not send the whole thing back.
Can I return it?
Within 7 days of delivery, as long as you have not started building and it goes back in its box. Once the first joint is pressed it is yours. Faulty parts are always covered either way.

In their words
What people told us before we made it.
From the interviews that shaped Bilt. Their words, not ours.
He didn't build that. I built that. We both were trying to do that. So I did it. So I like flexing that.
Mosin · 24, PuneOn the last thing he made himself
You own it also. This is something I created from scratch. It is something that I cannot buy off the shelf.
Pranav · 29, BangaloreOn building a chair vs assembling flat-pack
One good confidence at the end of it.
