Description

A tank you build from cut sheets, two motors, a turret and a pair of tracks, in about two hours, with your hands and nothing else. Then you pick up the controller you also built and drive it across the room. Forward, back, left, right, and the tracks turn it on the spot.

2 hours, a first-timer's evening. About 96 parts. 2.4 GHz, about 30 m of range. Type-C, about 40 minutes a charge. Snap-fit joints: no glue, no tools, no screen.

The cut edge stays bare so you can see it. The motors, the track drive and the wiring stay on view. It looks assembled, because it is.

In the box: the cut sheets, two motors, the receiver and the controller boards, rivets, axles, two rubber tracks, a Type-C cable and the manual. AA cells for the controller are not included.

Free shipping across India. Cash on delivery. 7 days to return it unbuilt. If a part is faulty, we send the part.

In the box
  • 1× set of cut sheets
The tank, the turret and the controller, ready to press out.
  • 2× motors with the track drive
  • 2× rubber tracks
  • Receiver and controller boards, 2.4 GHz
  • Rivets and axles, with spares
  • Type-C cable
  • The manual, printed

For someone else

A gift that starts when they open it.

Most gifts are finished the moment they are unwrapped. This one begins there: an evening at the table, then something that drives, then a thing on the shelf they made.

  • Comes in its own box, ready to hand over
  • Ships to their address if you put it at checkout
  • 7 days to return it unbuilt, if it is not their thing

Built, not bought

The Tank, next to a ready-made RC tank.

Both drive. One is yours in the way that counts.

Before you order

Before you order.

Who is this for?

Anyone who wants to build it. It arrives as flat sheets and there is no tank until you make one. If you would rather it came finished, it is not for you, and we would rather say so now.

How long does the build really take?

About two hours for someone who has never done it. That is a timed number, not a guess. Faster the second time; nobody has needed a second evening.

Do I need glue or tools?

No. The joints press together and the rivets seat by hand. Nothing in the box needs anything that is not in the box, except two AA cells for the controller.

What if a part is missing or broken?

Check the parts against the manual before you start. If something is missing or does not work, send us a photo within 7 days and we send the part, free, in 4 to 5 days. You do not send the whole thing back.

Can I return it?

Within 7 days of delivery, as long as you have not started building and it goes back in its box. Once the first joint is pressed it is yours. Faulty parts are always covered either way.

Anything else: 8408854742, Monday to Saturday, 10 to 6.

In their words

What people told us before we made it.

From the interviews that shaped Bilt. Their words, not ours.

  • He didn't build that. I built that. We both were trying to do that. So I did it. So I like flexing that.

Mosin · 24, PuneOn the last thing he made himself

  • You own it also. This is something I created from scratch. It is something that I cannot buy off the shelf.

Pranav · 29, BangaloreOn building a chair vs assembling flat-pack

  • One good confidence at the end of it.

Abuzar · 29, BangaloreOn what a build leaves you with
